Snoop Dogg Responds to Trump Performance Criticism 🎤

Snoop Dogg has now publicly responded to the backlash he faced for his performance at the Crypto Ball event honoring Donald Trump.

The artist took to Instagram Live to share with his followers that they need not worry about his choices. Following the announcement of his performance, Snoop encountered a significant amount of criticism from fans; yet, he claimed that it didn’t affect him.

“It’s Sunday man, I got gospel in my heart. For all that hate, I’m going to respond with love. Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much,” Snoop expressed. “Get your life right, stop concerning yourself with mine. I’m good, I’m solid. Still a Black man, still 100 percent Black.”

Despite the negative responses, Snoop also found some allies backing his choice. Stephen A. Smith suggested that Snoop’s decision was a “business move.” Notably, during Trump’s first presidency, Snoop had some outspoken criticisms directed at him.

In a conversation with London’s Sunday Times, Snoop mentioned that he held “nothing but love and respect” for Trump, particularly appreciating his decision to pardon Michael “Harry-O” Harris, co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records.

“He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has only done great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris,” Snoop remarked during the interview.
