In light of the recent altercation between Jim Jones and Cam’Ron, Kanye West has allegedly taken a side in the unfolding saga. The former Dipset members have exchanged several barbs over the past weeks, with Jim Jones even hinting at a potential diss track aimed at Cam’Ron. However, Kanye and Jones were spotted in Tokyo over the weekend, enjoying themselves at a nightclub and sharing new music apparel together.
The Harlem rapper posted an Instagram photo from their outing, writing in the caption: “We out here playin BULLY BALL only shot u don’t make is th shot u don’t take. This is about believing in yourself when no one else will.” He added, “I’m a student and A teacher this past 5 days I was th student I learned so much about character never judge unless u wearing a black robe.”
Capo continued by promoting Ye’s upcoming album Bully, saying, “Bully, this album so crazy I wouldn’t drop if I was y’all or drop now cause when he drops this is gone b a big problem. We not takin no for answers we are th BULLY.” He concluded with, “Safe to say @ye back aka THE REAL BILLY GOAT pun intended.”
Kanye then posted a picture of the Dipset chain, seen in Jones’ earlier photo, resting on a fur-lined jacket, captioning it: “DIPSET.” The Chicago native also wore the necklace while celebrating with Jones.
Cam’Ron Dismisses Kanye’s Rants, Reaffirms Loyalty
While Cam’Ron has not yet commented on the high-profile encounter, he has previously expressed his views on Kanye’s infamous public tirades.
He mentioned on his All the Smoke Podcast: “Kanye, he play crazy with who he wanna play crazy with, you know what I’m saying? That n-gga’s crazy when it’s convenient.” He continued, “I seen Kanye about a year and a half, two years ago… the n-gga was sane as a muthafucka!” before reminiscing about the Chicago rapper asking him if he wanted beats and proposing they hit the town. He added, “Two days later he going crazy on the news and all type of shit. Every time I seen Kanye he’s perfectly fine — I’ve never seen the crazy Kanye, personally. Ever.”
Cam took aim at his collaborator from Dipset‘s 2018 resurgence, rejecting Kanye’s Bipolar diagnosis and labeling him an “Uncle Tom.” Nevertheless, he later expressed that his fondness for Kanye remains intact, recounting their unusual reunion at West’s private office, alongside Marilyn Manson during the sessions for Donda 2.
