Mary J. Blige reveals to PEOPLE that she was compelled to terminate a staff member after her upcoming tour setlist began to spread online. Blige’s For My Fans Tour is set to commence on Jan. 30 in Greensboro, NC, and will span 36 cities, including Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York.

As per Mary J. Blige, her setlist holds deep significance for her, and she feels “pissed” about its online exposure. “We worked too hard, and the setlist is the most private thing,” she shares with PEOPLE. “It was unprofessional. Clearly, it was someone within the team, and they jeopardized everything just for a few likes.”

Fortunately, only a small part of the setlist was leaked, and she promises fans that she still has some surprises planned. The setlist will feature fan-favorite tracks from her extensive career and her new album, Gratitude. “Only a little bit got leaked, and that’s not even close to half. People have no idea what else is in store.”

Joining her on tour will be Mario and Ne-Yo, who are set to serenade the audience. Blige believes they have the “best love songs of their generation.” She elaborated: “Last time, I had Queen Naija and Ella Mai [on the Good Morning Gorgeous Tour]. I adore Ella Mai, and I cherish Queen. This time, I thought, ‘We really need to focus on making the women feel cherished.’ It’s essential for women to feel special now.”

Blige is thrilled to embark on this tour, viewing it as a tribute to her fans. “At this moment, I am filled with immense gratitude and peace, so having the opportunity to launch my new album “Gratitude” on November 15th just before this tour is incredibly meaningful to me,” the singer expressed in a press release.
