Will Ferrell’s “Not Like Us” Performance on SNL 🎤

Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer made a grand return with their iconic “SNL” characters, Marty and Bobbi Mohan-Culp, delivering a memorable performance at the recent SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. The pair took on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

The eccentric music teachers, famous for their humorously out-of-touch pop renditions, presented a medley of some of the hottest tracks today, including Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning Not Like Us.

In full character, Will Ferrell cheekily commented on the ongoing Lamar-Drake dispute. “Are Kenny Lamar and Drake Graham here tonight?” he joked. “Perhaps you two can make amends in the name of love and unity. No? Not in hell. Message taken.”

The duo embraced Lamar’s witty lyrical prowess, putting on a theatrical display that had the audience—including Amy Schumer and Mark Ronson—laughing in astonishment.

The Culps, who were a prominent feature of SNL in the late ’90s, perfectly juxtaposed their prim personas with their absurdly sincere interpretations of modern hits. Their recent medley upheld that legacy, skillfully incorporating Charli XCX’s Brat, Britney Spears’ Work Bitch, Doechii’s Denial Is a River, Chappell Roan’s Good Luck, Babe!, as well as Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Unholy and Megan Thee Stallion’s Body.

The SNL50 concert, hosted at Radio City Music Hall, paved the way for the official SNL50: The Anniversary Special, a three-hour live show airing on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

This momentous celebration features an impressive roster, showcasing performances by Cher, Dave Grohl, Snoop Dogg, St. Vincent, Wyclef Jean, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and many more.
