Katt Williams is expressing his views on the failed presidential campaign of former Vice-President Kamala Harris.
During his “Heaven On Earth” comedy tour, Williams criticized Harris, asserting that she received no votes in November. A widely spread cell phone video captured his comments at a stop in Los Angeles on January 17.
“It’s not Black men who let Kamala down. It was everyone else. Nobody voted for that b*tch,” Williams stated, prompting laughter from the audience.
Women didn’t support her. Indians didn’t support her. Jews didn’t support her. She wed a Jew, and they did not back her,” he added. “Those who wanted an ab*rration did not vote for her. It was tragic. Truly tragic.”
“People say Katt Williams got more votes and I wasn’t even running. They said they just wrote me in. I don’t understand,” he continued.
As Williams continued, he criticized Harris for not addressing her supporters on election night.
“I had higher expectations of Kamala. It’s one thing to get your a*s handed to you, but you’ve still got to show up, ma’am,” Williams remarked. “She didn’t even show up for her own… She left her own sorority freezing in the cold.”
Many on social media expressed their disappointment with Williams’ harsh remarks towards Harris. One user commented, “This is truly disheartening. Who can we rely on to stay genuine within the Black community without compromising for immunity and a dollar?”
“The year 2025 has been incredibly disappointing,” another user added.
Despite the narratives suggesting that Black voters did not support Harris, exit polling presents a different perspective. According to The Washington Post, 78% of Black men cast their votes for Harris. This figure was just a point shy of the support Joe Biden received in 2020.
Moreover, Black women overwhelmingly favored Harris, with a remarkable 92% voting for her. This surpassed the percentage of Black women who supported Biden in 2020.
