Halle Bailey has disclosed that she has penned enough songs dedicated to her son, Halo, to create an entire album.
On Saturday (Jan. 25), the “Angel” artist provided updates regarding her eagerly awaited solo project and hinted at a potential collaboration with her sister, Chlöe, for the record.

“I’ve composed so many songs about my son, and I genuinely love all of them, but I’m like, ‘How many is too many for the album?’” she questioned her Twitter followers. Fans responded with enthusiasm almost immediately. One user humorously suggested, “Girl, drop an album named Halo. We’re ready,” while another playfully alluded to Luther Vandross’ “Never Too Much.”
When someone proposed the idea of releasing an EP instead, Halle seemed captivated. “OMG. Kinda love this idea,” she responded, indicating that she might seriously consider the suggestion. She also hinted at a possible surprise for Valentine’s Day, igniting speculation about a new single or the long-awaited premiere date for her debut album.
Fans eager for a Halle and Chlöe reunion had more to celebrate when someone inquired if Chlöe would make an appearance on the album. Halle replied succinctly yet decisively: “Absolutely.”
Although it has been a while since the sisters launched their sophomore album, Ungodly Hour, they recently collaborated on “Want Me” by Trouble In Paris. In late 2024, they also came together for the deluxe edition of FLO’s Access All Areas, contributing to the track “Soft (Unlocked).”
Chlöe, speaking to PEOPLE last year, expressed her enthusiasm for their forthcoming projects.
“I know she has so much happening, and I’m incredibly proud and thrilled for her,” Chlöe stated. “I can’t wait for us to finally piece together the body of work we’ve been discussing for so long. At the Fashion Awards, we performed together again, and it felt exceptionally special. I’m looking forward to doing that again with another album.”
With Halle Bailey’s solo artistry continuing to flourish and her bond with Chlöe remaining strong, fans have much to anticipate. Whether it’s a touching tribute to her son, a Valentine’s Day surprise, or fresh music with her sister, Halle’s upcoming album promises to be an extraordinary journey.
