Gap has joined forces with Harlem’s Fashion Row (HFR) to unveil a limited-edition collaboration featuring 16 pieces, all curated by six talented Black designers.
Launching on February 11 (Friday) during Black History Month, this capsule collection offers a fresh take on Gap’s most iconic wardrobe essentials.
A. Potts, BruceGlen, KAPHILL, N’Gai, and Richfresh are the visionary designers contributing to this collection.
The collection was proudly revealed at an exclusive event at Gap’s San Francisco headquarters on Thursday, February 13, where Gap and Harlem’s Fashion Row hosted an immersive presentation that seamlessly combined storytelling, fashion, and movement, perfectly timed with the upcoming NBA’s All-Star Weekend in San Francisco.
Brandice Daniel, the CEO & Founder of Harlem’s Fashion Row, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership in an official statement.
“Our collaboration with Gap represents more than just fashion; it’s about creating
opportunities, dismantling barriers, and amplifying the voices of these exceptionally talented
designers,” Brandice Daniel stated. “This partnership holds significant importance as it showcases our evolving vision to redefine possibilities for designers of color. Together, we are not only honoring creativity but also nurturing a legacy of inclusivity and empowerment that will inspire future generations.”
“This collaboration feels like a perfect match, deeply rooted in our shared mission to uplift creators and equip them with a platform to showcase their talents globally,” remarked Mark Breitbard, President & CEO of Gap brand. “Each designer’s creativity shines through — influenced by Gap’s Heritage while introducing a fresh, authentic viewpoint to craft a genuinely original collection. We eagerly anticipate bringing our communities together to celebrate in our creative hometown of San Francisco.”
With prices for the collection ranging from $89 to $129, the Gap × Harlem’s Fashion Row collection will be available on gap.com and at select Gap
stores starting February 14 at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT.
