Although Valentine’s Day is generally celebrated by couples, it can be a rather solitary occasion for those who are single. On Friday (Feb. 14), Jack Harlow was seen dining alone in a bustling New York City eatery—sporting a sleek black turtleneck sweater and enjoying a glass of wine. Since the snapshot began to circulate on social media, many have been curious about why the “Lovin’ On Me” rapper seems to be without a significant other.
While he’s recognized for his flirtatious nature, Jack Harlow has not officially confirmed any romantic involvement yet. He has been associated with numerous female artists, including pop star Dua Lipa and influencer-turned-musician Addison Rae. Additionally, he has publicly pursued Doja Cat and Saweetie.
Jack Harlow Says He’s Searching For a ‘Sweetheart’ Like Himself
In a 2022 interview with Wonderland, Jack Harlow shared the qualities he seeks in a romantic partner. He expressed a preference for girls with “brown-black hair.”
“I can’t control my preferences; I believe that most people have certain patterns when it comes to what they like and who they’re drawn to,” he stated. The rapper views himself as a “sweetheart” and desires someone who resonates with that.
“Personality-wise, I’m drawn to sweethearts. I just want someone who can show me affection and never criticize me. The type of toxic, jerky persona seems to be trendy these days. But I consider myself a sweetheart, so I wish for my girl to embody that as well,” he shared with the publication.
In 2021, he also mentioned to GQ Hype that he wasn’t keen on “hooking up” with fans. “I cherish women and I enjoy dating. It’s amusing—your opportunities grow as you become more successful. Ironically, though, you also become a bit more reclusive as the stakes rise.”
He continued, “A girl I might have welcomed back to my hotel three years ago is someone I would think twice about now,” added the 23-year-old. “There’s also this stigma associated with it. I recall when I was younger, observing artists who were more successful than me talking about how there were girls interested in them solely because they were rappers. I found that so intriguing.”
