Tems is broadening her horizons.
The two-time Grammy Award recipient and Oscar contender has officially joined the San Diego Football Club’s ownership group.
On Instagram, Tems expressed her enthusiasm about being involved with the franchise.
“I am incredibly excited to share 🚨 that I’m now a part of the @sandiegofc ownership group as a Club Partner⚽,” her message stated. “Being part of a family that represents everything I stand for with the SDFCs @right2dream initiative, which focuses on providing young talents with the chance to excel on and off the field, is a tremendous opportunity. This is more than just a club—it’s a movement. I’m eager for what lies ahead.”
“Tems is a remarkable artist and a significant cultural influencer globally,” stated Tom Penn, CEO of SDFC. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our Club, bringing her innovative perspective to San Diego FC. Her dedication to empowering the younger generation harmonizes perfectly with our mission, and her efforts to create opportunities for emerging talents both domestically and internationally embody the core principles of Right to Dream.
We are also excited about fostering meaningful relationships between the music industry and San Diego FC, connecting communities through the unifying power of culture and sports,” Penn added.
Joining Tems in the ownership group are Issa Rae, Juan Mata, Jocko Willink, and founding partner, perennial MLB All-Star of the San Diego Padres, Manny Machado.
