On Wednesday (Feb. 5), Rihanna addressed an Instagram account that employed artificial intelligence to modify her voice in one of their posts. This post showcases a video of Rihanna discussing her priciest purchases. However, the Fenty founder clarified that it wasn’t her voice. โ€œWho tf is this talking??!โ€ she expressed in the comments section.

The singer’s supporters also raised doubts about the authenticity of the video. โ€œThis is AI lol Rihanna would never speak like this even if every purchase was true,โ€ remarked one user. โ€œRih would never brag like this,โ€ commented another fan.
โ€œTrue fans know whatโ€™s up. AI…โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t trust thisโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve never seen celebrities flaunt their wealth like thisโ€ฆ AI disgusts me,โ€ added yet another follower.

Rihanna Joins โ€œThe Smurfs Movieโ€ With New Music

In related news, Rihanna is bringing her talents to the big screen as Smurfette in The Smurfs Movie. Recently, a new trailer was released that features some thrilling new music from the icon. In the teaser, Rihanna introduces herself and her character, saying, โ€œI canโ€™t wait for you to see the movie this summer.โ€

The trailer creatively combines the iconic Smurfs theme with Rihannaโ€™s 2007 smash hit Donโ€™t Stop the Music, then transitions into her rendition of Heaven Is a Place on Earth, originally performed by Belinda Carlisle. DJ Khaled also makes a cameo on the track.

Rihannaโ€™s voiceover elaborates, โ€œIn Smurf Village, every day is a celebration. Each Smurf has a unique roleโ€”like Grouchy, Influencer, and me, the coolest Smurf in the entire village.โ€ The storyline follows the Smurfs on an adventure across various dimensions to find the missing Papa Smurf, voiced by John Goodman. Other notable actors lending their voices include Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, Nick Kroll, James Corden, and Amy Sedaris.

The Smurfs Movie, produced by Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and Ryan Harris, is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 18, 2025.
