On Wednesday (Feb. 5), Rihanna addressed an Instagram account that employed artificial intelligence to modify her voice in one of their posts. This post showcases a video of Rihanna discussing her priciest purchases. However, the Fenty founder clarified that it wasn’t her voice. โWho tf is this talking??!โ she expressed in the comments section.
The singer’s supporters also raised doubts about the authenticity of the video. โThis is AI lol Rihanna would never speak like this even if every purchase was true,โ remarked one user. โRih would never brag like this,โ commented another fan.

Rihanna Joins โThe Smurfs Movieโ With New Music
In related news, Rihanna is bringing her talents to the big screen as Smurfette in The Smurfs Movie. Recently, a new trailer was released that features some thrilling new music from the icon. In the teaser, Rihanna introduces herself and her character, saying, โI canโt wait for you to see the movie this summer.โ
The trailer creatively combines the iconic Smurfs theme with Rihannaโs 2007 smash hit Donโt Stop the Music, then transitions into her rendition of Heaven Is a Place on Earth, originally performed by Belinda Carlisle. DJ Khaled also makes a cameo on the track.
Rihannaโs voiceover elaborates, โIn Smurf Village, every day is a celebration. Each Smurf has a unique roleโlike Grouchy, Influencer, and me, the coolest Smurf in the entire village.โ The storyline follows the Smurfs on an adventure across various dimensions to find the missing Papa Smurf, voiced by John Goodman. Other notable actors lending their voices include Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, Nick Kroll, James Corden, and Amy Sedaris.
The Smurfs Movie, produced by Jay Brown, Ty Ty Smith, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and Ryan Harris, is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 18, 2025.
