Following her divorce from NBA star Carmelo Anthony, La La Anthony describes the dating scene as “interesting.” The actress and journalist first crossed paths with the basketball player in 2003, and they became engaged just a year later. The former couple welcomed their son, Kiyan, in 2007 and finally tied the knot in 2010. Unfortunately, by 2021, their romance had diminished, and the couple filed for divorce. According to In Touch, La La is now “living life, having fun, and trying to create amazing memories.”

As for her ideal partner, the BMF actress values two main traits: humor and spontaneity. “I joke around all day long, so if you can be spontaneous and make me laugh, those are two fantastic qualities,” she states.
